Sichuan County Under Fire for Publicly Humiliating Low-Scoring Teachers

Sichuan's Libo County has become the center of controversy after photographs emerged showing teachers being publicly humiliated during an education meeting. The images, captured at the Libo County 2026 Fall Education Administration Meeting on August 26, depict teachers standing on stage with their heads bowed as their students' poor academic performance was displayed prominently behind them. Two separate groups of educators were subjected to this treatment—one group responsible for junior high classes averaging below 15 points, and another for primary school classes averaging below 30 points.
