Summary
After the earlier CHIIKAWA ARTIVERSE exhibition ended in Tsim Sha Tsui, organiser AllRightsReserved said the project would continue through the Mid-Autumn Festival with a limited event at AIRSIDE in Kai Tak from September 21 to October 4, 2026. The event will reunite fans with Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi under a festival lantern theme, with the three characters dressed in Hong Kong-inspired lantern designs. A 2D photo spot based on the previously popular CHIIKAWA Carousel installation will also be set up on site. The pop-up shop will sell Hong Kong-limited merchandise, while some of the most anticipated lantern-themed plush items will only have their designs and prices revealed on September 16
Key Points
- The Mid-Autumn limited event will be held at AIRSIDE's 2/F atrium and Shops L210 and L222 in Kai Tak from September 21 to October 4, 2026
- Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi will appear in accordion-paper lantern, goldfish lantern and classic rabbit lantern looks inspired by Hong Kong traditions
- Organisers will add a 2D check-in area inspired by the earlier hit CHIIKAWA Carousel installation for festival-themed photos
- Merchandise includes plush keychains, plush toys, a phone strap for HK$240, rugs for HK$260, placemats for HK$180 and sticker sets
- Priority entry from September 21 to 25 is reserved for earlier CHIIKAWA ARTIVERSE ticket buyers, who can book timed passes on Klook from noon on September 17
Why It Matters
The event extends a popular character exhibition beyond its original Tsim Sha Tsui run and relocates it to Kai Tak, giving fans another chance to engage with the brand during a major traditional festival. For Hong Kong visitors, the combination of local lantern imagery, limited merchandise and phased entry arrangements means planning ahead may be important, especially because stock is limited and purchase caps will apply
